We’re looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers to join our Assisting Hands Home Care – Merrillville team and provide overnight in-home care (10PM–7AM) for clients in Valparaiso, Indiana.

• Consistent overnight schedule (10PM–7AM)
• Flexible options: PRN or part-time
• Paid orientation and ongoing training opportunities
• Office staff available 24/7 for support
• Meaningful one‑on‑one care with clients
• Competitive pay based on experience and assignment

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, ambulation and transfers per each client’s plan of care
• Monitor client’s condition and report any changes promptly
• Prepare light meals and provide nutrition support
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Support use of mobility devices (wheelchair, walker, etc.)
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
• Maintain accurate documentation using our mobile app
• Follow infection control and safety procedures (CDC‑compliant)
• Uphold agency policies, procedures, and professional standards

• Minimum 6 months of professional caregiving experience (non‑family care)
• Reliable transportation to Valparaiso, IN
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR certification and TB test (or willing to obtain)
• Must pass a national background check
• Valid photo  Social Security card (for employment verification)
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional
