Dispensing Optician
Location:
Valparaiso, Crown Point, and Munster, Indiana
- Patient / Customer Service Oriented
- Strong attention to detail
- Authentic desire to assist patients with ordering glasses and contact lenses
- Team-oriented ability to work with Doctors, Technicians and Accounting staff to provide an exceptional quality of patient care
- Experience in the Medical or Eye Care Industry
- Assisting patients with ordering glasses and contact lenses
- Selecting frames and lenses that best suit the patient's prescription and lifestyle
- Providing instruction for contact lens insertion and removal
- Assisting patients to utilize eligible insurance to their benefit
- Working with Doctors, Technicians, and Accounting Department to provide patients with quality care
- Must be personable, professional, a self-starter and a problem solver
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to work as agreed upon
- Organization and the ability to multi-task is essential
- Ability to travel between offices—travel may be required
