A well-established hotel group in Northwest Indiana is looking for a Housekeeping Manager to oversee one of its brand-new properties. This premier location is designed to serve business travelers and groups, offering a range of tailored amenities to meet their specific needs. The ideal candidate will bring extensive housekeeping experience from a branded Hilton or Marriott property. If you are passionate about hospitality, this is an outstanding opportunity with a growing hotel group.
Compensation$50,000 - $55,000 (commensurate with experience) + Bonus, Health, Dental & Vision plans, 401k + match, a great PTO plan, and more!
Relocation assistance will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
Bilingual is a plus (Spanish and English) Requirements- Previous housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel or resort environment.
- Strong knowledge of room cleaning standards, safety protocols, and brand quality expectations.
- Ability to manage room assignments, daily productivity, and room‑turnover timelines.
- Proven ability to train, motivate, and coach housekeeping teams of varying skill levels.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with front office and hotel leadership.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Ability to manage labor budgets, supply inventories, and cost‑control processes.
- Problem‑solving skills with the ability to address guest concerns and operational issues promptly.
- Comfortable using basic property management systems (PMS) and housekeeping management tools.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure rooms and public areas meet brand standards.
- Manage room turnover times, labor efficiency, supply usage, and guest cleanliness scores.
- Lead, train, and support the housekeeping team while coaching performance and maintaining accountability.
- Ensure all new hires complete proper onboarding and safety training.
- Serve as the main point of contact with hotel leadership on room status, staffing, and service needs.
- Uphold strict cleanliness, safety, and quality‑assurance protocols.
- Maintain a friendly, service‑oriented approach when interacting with guests, staff, and leadership.
