Job Description
Your tasks
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Operating CNC machining equipment following a production schedule.
- Accurately labeling parts.
- Stamping parts as needed.
- Moving finished parts to the proper areas.
- Keeping the machine filled with coolant.
- Ensuring that refractometer readings are within acceptable levels.
- Monitoring and filling the way oil reservoir.
- Maintaining a clean workstation adhering to 5S standards.
- Programming and machining new fixtures.
- Training new employees.
- Programming and machining prototype parts and new jobs.
THE ENVIRONMENT
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to. This includes personal protective equipment such as safety‑toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection (optional).
- This is a 1st shift position, working 7:00am – 3:00pm, with overtime as needed.
- The job is within a climate‑controlled environment, and you will be exposed to forklifts, pedestrian traffic, and moderate noise.
- The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

QualificationsYour profile:
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
CNC MACHINE OPERATOR 1
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant CNC machining experience.
- Ability to work 8‑hour shift.
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
CNC MACHINE OPERATOR 2
All basic qualifications required for CNC Machine Operator 1, and:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant CNC machining experience.
- Intermediate maintenance experience.
- Ability to perform tasks outside of department.
- Intermediate experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.
CNC MACHINIST 1
All basic qualifications required for CNC Machine Operator 2, and:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant CNC machining experience.
- Intermediate maintenance experience.
- Ability to perform tasks outside of department.
