Material Handler Floater/Swing Role (1st Shift, Temp-to-Hire)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Some overtime and occasional weekends may be required)

We are looking for a dependable and adaptable Material Handler to join our team in a dynamic Floater/Swing position. This hands‑on role supports multiple departments including Shipping & Receiving, Manufacturing, and Maintenance and offers excellent opportunities for cross‑training and long‑term growth. The right candidate is a team player, mechanically inclined, and ready to work in a fast‑paced environment. Temporary time would be a probationary period.

• Serve as a backup to Shipping & Receiving Leads: assist with packaging, labeling, shipping, and receiving materials
• Support manufacturing operations by learning and performing chemical blending, container filling, and batching processes
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training available if not certified)
• Assist maintenance team with general tasks such as pump repair, basic piping, and light electrical troubleshooting
• Safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
• Follow all safety procedures and standard operating protocols
• Flex between departments based on daily operational needs

• Willingness to be trained and work across multiple departments
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning maintenance‑related skills
• Forklift experience preferred (certification not required)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Steel‑toe boots required (reimbursement available after permanent hire)
• Must be comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
