Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM with on-call requirements

• Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly (96 bi-weekly not available)

• 13-week assignment with urgent start needed

• Maximum 2 days of requested time off allowed

• Required to have RTO blackout dates or required holidays

• Circulate in Open Heart and General surgical cases

• Responsible for room turnover, stocking supplies, and taking call

• Work with various surgical specialties including Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci Robot, General, Gyn, and Podiatry

• Patient ratio varies throughout the day

• 12-bed unit capacity

• 5-day orientation provided

• Blue scrubs provided on-site through Scrubex

• EMR system:
Cerner

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS

• Indiana RN licensure required

• Open Heart experience required

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required

• No floating to other units required

• Block scheduling not available

• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
