Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Store Support role at The Home Depot involves a variety of non-sales functions. This may include ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot, or providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction is sometimes required. Whether directing customers to store departments or merchandise, answering customer questions on product order status, handling cash management or program compliance, these positions play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Individuals in these positions must work cooperatively with other Associates, vendors, carriers, and productively with little/some supervision, be detail-oriented, and have proven time management skills. They must demonstrate a high level of integrity at all times, respond to operational concerns of all associates and remain focused on store specific business objectives while supporting key operational responsibilities. Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.
- Ensure an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience.
- Assist customers in the lot and with locating merchandise.
- Provide administrative services as needed.
- Direct customer or vendor interactions, including answering questions on product order status.
- Support cash management and program compliance where applicable.
- Work cooperatively with other associates, vendors, and carriers with minimal supervision.
- Maintain attention to detail and strong time management to meet store objectives.
- Demonstrate integrity at all times and respond to operational concerns.
- Detail-oriented with proven time management skills.
- Ability to work with little or some supervision and cooperate with others.
- High level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities for customer interactions and order status inquiries.
