• Communicate with patients to evaluate their speech or language difficulties and determine the need for continued therapy services.
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices.
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions.
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient’s response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy.

• Minimum master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• At least one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted state license in the state in which you will practice.
• Current BLS or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.

Adoration Home Health / Bright Spring Health Services, an affiliated company, recently acquired certain Amedisys home health and hospice operations and is recruiting candidates for open positions within those operations. The successful candidate will initially be employed by Amedisys until January 1, 2026 at the latest. During this period, Amedisys will perform all administrative onboarding activities and offer benefits coverage under Amedisys employee benefit plans.

On or before January 1, 2026, the successful candidate’s employment will be transferred to Adoration Home Health / Bright Spring Health Services. At all times, the affiliated company will make all hiring decisions regarding and will supervise and direct the work of the successful candidate.
