Packaging Engineer, Manufacturing Production
Guarantee proper packaging and effective grinding of products to meet quality and safety standards, ensuring seamless production and efficient recycling of materials. Support machine operators in any necessary tasks and substitute in simples tasks when needed to maintain production flow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Packaging Operations- Create various types of packaging and internal packaging components as required.
- Place products inside the packaging, ensuring proper alignment and presentation.
- Seal and close packaging securely to meet quality standards.
- Monitor the packaging process to maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks on packaged products, verifying compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with packaging equipment to minimize downtime.
- Operate grinding machines to process scrap plastic materials into reusable granules.
- Monitor grinding equipment to ensure smooth operation and proper output.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of grinders to maintain efficiency.
- Accurately label and store recycled materials for reintroduction into the production process.
- Assist machine operators in tasks as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Substitute operators in performing simple tasks during breaks or peak workload.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure compliance with food-grade safety standards and company policies.
- Participate in regular safety training and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in packaging and grinding processes.
- Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and innovations.
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records for process evaluation.
- Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to align operations with production goals.
- Communicate effectively to ensure smooth handovers and issue resolution.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues.
- Problem-solving mindset to quickly address operational challenges.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.

- Proficiency in operating packaging and grinding equipment.

- Understanding of food-grade packaging standards and hygiene requirements.

- Experience with record-keeping for production and maintenance activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is an advantage.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging operations, preferably in the food or dairy industry.
