Industrial Welders in a fabrication shop are responsible for joining metal components together using various welding techniques. They play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, creating a wide range of metal products.

• Uses various welding techniques to join metal components.
• Operates and maintains tools and equipment.
• Performs housekeeping in the area as needed.
• Must wear safety glasses and hearing protection.
• Follow written and oral directions.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding certification preferred.

• Experience with GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW 3G Vertical.
• Carbon and stainless‐steel experience required.

• Strong manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work accurately and with precision.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations.

The working environment is an industrial shop; not climate‑controlled and often hot/humid. Frequent exposure to moving equipment, machines, shop tools, and other safety‑sensitive hazards. Must be alert and able to safely perform essential duties of the job without risk.

See: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision and focus adjustment.

Carry/Lift: occasionally lift up to 100 lb.

Exposure: considerable time in processing environments both indoors and outdoors; environments can be loud, dusty, hot, or cold.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
