Logistics & Palletization Operator

Ensure efficient logistics operations and precise palletization of products to meet quality standards and delivery schedules. Operate and maintain equipment while adhering to safety protocols and optimizing processes to minimize waste and downtime.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Logistics Operations

• Manage the movement and storage of materials and products within the facility.
• Prepare and verify shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including production and quality, to ensure timely and efficient dispatch of goods.
• Operate palletization equipment, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products.
• Inspect and confirm that palletized goods meet quality and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with palletization equipment as needed.

Equipment Operation & Maintenance

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on logistics and palletization machinery, reporting any defects or requirements for repairs.
• Guarantee the good condition of load‑handling equipment and the infrastructure where the team operates.

Production Support

• Assist production teams by performing tasks as needed, such as operating grinders, winders and packaging equipment.
• Step in to cover absences, vacations or other situations as directed by the Production Supervisor.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Participate in safety training and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve logistics and palletization processes, contributing to operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and innovative solutions.

SOFT SKILLS

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in logistics operations and palletization.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Problem‑solving mindset to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Adaptability to handle dynamic work environments and varying priorities.

TECHNICAL

SKILLS:

• Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment (valid certifications preferred).
• Familiarity with palletization equipment and processes.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and logistics management systems.
• Understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements in logistics.
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining logistics equipment.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or related fields.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Capability to work in varying environmental conditions, including temperature fluctuations.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts and overtime if needed.
