* Job Description:

**** POSITION OVERVIEW
** The Powder coat Operator is responsible for managing the inventory of powder coating materials, adhering to the ERP schedule, ensuring a safe and clean working environment, maintaining powder coating equipment, and ensuring the quality of process standards.

** TOP 5 RESPONSIBILITIES
** 1. Manage the inventory for powder coating materials  
2. Follow and adhere to the ERP schedule  
3. Ensure a safe and clean working environment (6S)  4. Make sure to maintain the powder coating equipment properly  
5. Ensure the quality of process standards is maintained    
** ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
*** Develop and maintain a tracking system for powder coating materials to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
* Provide feedback on the ERP schedule to improve workflow efficiency and address potential bottlenecks
* Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times
* Regularly inspect and troubleshoot powder coating equipment to address maintenance needs proactively
* Maintain detailed records of coating processes and quality control checks for continuous improvement initiatives
** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
*** High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
* Prior experience in powder coating or a related manufacturing role is preferred
* Basic understanding of powder coating equipment and processes. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to heat and chemicals
* Strong focus on quality assurance to meet process standards
* Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety guidelines, and operational instructions.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
* Knowledge of workplace safety practices, including 6S standards
