Printing Line Operator

Operate and monitor printing line equipment to produce high-quality printed materials on products, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and production standards. Contribute to efficient operations and process improvements while minimizing downtime and waste.

• Set up and operate printing line equipment according to production specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance, adjusting settings to maintain optimal print quality and output.
• Ensure inks, plates, and substrates are correctly prepared for printing operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the printing process to identify and resolve issues promptly.

• Perform quality checks on printed products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Adjust color, registration, and other parameters to achieve the desired print quality.
• Record and report deviations or defects to supervisors and quality control teams.
• Collaborate with the quality team to implement corrective actions as necessary.

• Conduct routine cleaning and basic maintenance of printing equipment to prevent malfunctions.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinating with maintenance teams for complex repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure the printing process complies with food-grade or other relevant standards when applicable.
• Participate in regular safety training and contribute to a safe working environment.

• Monitor production metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Assist in the implementation of best practices and process innovations.
• Collaborate with team members to reduce waste and improve material utilization

• Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet production goals.
• Communicate effectively during shift changes to ensure continuity in operations.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving printing line performance.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure print quality and process accuracy.

• Proficiency in operating and adjusting printing line equipment.
• Knowledge of color matching, ink types, and substrate properties.
• Basic mechanical skills for routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and measurement tools.
• Experience with production tracking systems and documentation.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or manufacturing is a plus.
• Previous experience in operating printing equipment preferred.
• Physical ability to handle materials and stand for extended periods.
• Capability to work in 12 hour-shifts, Night and Day Shifts Available
• Basic computer skills for logging production and quality data.
