Journeyman Pipefitter

• Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems, steam, and industrial piping.
• Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for pipe layouts.
• Cut, bend, and thread pipes using various hand and power tools.
• Requirements:
• Journeyman Pipe Fitter certification.
• At least 4 years of experience in pipe fitting.
• Ability to work with different materials such as copper, steel, and plastic.
• Familiarity with pressure testing and welding techniques for pipe systems.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work long, flexible hours and overtime as needed.

• The main office is located at 1171 Grill Road, Van Wert, OH 45891.
• Travel to client and customer sites is required.
• Days and hours of work may vary at times to include some evenings and weekends.
• This is a full‑time position. Days and hours of work vary (Monday to Sunday with some overnight work) and overtime is frequently required.
• This position is safety sensitive in nature, which means employees perform duties so fraught with risks of injury to self or others, or environmental injury, that even a momentary lapse of concentration or attention can have disastrous consequences.
• The working environment is often in harsh elements (hot/humid and/or cold temperatures, rain, etc.). Industrial environments often have exposure to hazardous chemicals, moving heavy equipment, and other safety‑sensitive hazards/risks. Must always be alert and able to safely perform the essential duties of the job without risking harm to oneself or others.

Walk: Frequently walking through job sites.

Use hands/fingers to handle or feel: Frequently use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving materials, and manipulating things. Able to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position. Able to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

Able to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.

Stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl: Frequently climbing, lifting, balancing, stooping, and handling materials.

See: Able to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.

Carry, weight, Lift: The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to (frequently – 25 pounds; routinely – 50 pounds).

• Journeyman Pipe Fitter certification.
• At least 4 years of experience in pipe fitting.
• Ability to work with different materials such as copper, steel, and plastic.
• Familiarity with pressure testing and welding techniques for pipe systems.
