Canadian corporate tax and financial statements experience in a CPA firm in Canada

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with our clients.
• Stay informed of general and business developments / practices and their impact on our clients.
• Preparation of working papers and appropriate support for completion of financial statements on files.
• Preparation and reviewing of corporate tax returns and advising on regulatory filings.
• Compilation of information for personal tax returns.
• Prepare and review federal and provincial sales and information returns for all types of entities.
• Comfortable working in a paperless environment.

• 5+ years public accounting experience, including financial statement and corporate tax preparation.
• Previous experience working with Case Ware/Case View, Word and Excel is essential, familiarity with Tax Prep and various accounting packages is desirable.
• Knowledge of multiple industries and investment holding companies an asset.
• Ability to work on multiple engagements at the same time.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proven abilities in the areas of accounting, assurance and tax compliance services.
• Sound decision-making ability and professional judgment.
• Works effectively, independently and in a team environment.
