Senior Bookkeeper​/Fractional Accounting Manager

Position: Senior Bookkeeper / Fractional Accounting Manager
Overview  We are a Vancouver-based company operating fully remotely and are seeking an experienced senior bookkeeper / fractional accounting manager to achieve our full-cycle monthly accounting process and reporting requirements. This role works with and reports to a small experienced senior finance team.
Responsibilities   Manage full-cycle bookkeeping in Sage Accounting
Process accounts payable and oversee banking activity
Run payroll and manage CRA remittances
Administer employee benefits and reconcile provider invoices
Manage shareholder payments and reconciliations
Review, verify, reconcile monthly credit card transactions
Perform month-end close, including reconciliations and accruals
Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
Coordinate with external CPA for year-end reporting and compliance
Requirements   7+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping / accounting experience
Proven hands-on experience with Sage Accounting
Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll and CRA requirements

Experience with SaaS business, and online payment providers

Experience with multi-currency accounting
High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Part-time / fractional (approx.  20–30 hours per month )
Fully remote role - Vancouver, BC area preferred
