About The Opportunity
This is a great next step for an experienced public practice professional looking to grow into a leadership role. You’ll manage a portfolio of audit and assurance engagements, review files for compliance with professional standards, and work closely with Partners on further developing client relationships. The role also offers the chance to mentor staff and contribute to the development of the team.
About The Position
Reporting directly to the Partners and focusing on assurance engagements, responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing audit and review engagements for a range of clients
Reviewing financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS, ASPE, and ASNPO
Overseeing related tax requirements connected to audit and review work
Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor on business and accounting matters
Supervising staff and senior accountants, providing coaching, feedback, and mentorship
Ensuring all engagements are delivered on time and meet professional standards
Contributing to firm‑wide initiatives, policies, and process improvements
Leading training sessions and supporting the professional development of team members
The Requirements
CPA designation (required)
Minimum 1 year of experience at the Manager level in Audit/Assurance
Strong background in public company audits under IFRS
Excellent leadership, communication, and client service skills
Stability and long tenure in previous roles considered an asset
Compensation
Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000
Paid overtime and annual bonus program
Comprehensive health and dental benefits
Parking or transit pass provided
CPA dues and fees covered
Four‑day workweeks in the summer
