Reporting to the Controller, the Development Accountant will manage financial reporting and project accounting for a portfolio of residential developments. The role offers meaningful exposure to the full project lifecycle and requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple residential development projectsTrack and report on project costs, budgets, commitments, and forecastsPrepare monthly financial statements and detailed project reporting packagesPartner closely with development, construction, and operations teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial oversightMonitor cash flow, construction draws, and lender reporting requirementsSupport year-end processes and liaise with external auditorsContribute to process improvements and strengthening internal controlsAnalyze variances and provide financial insights to support strategic project decisions
