Position Summary:
The Senior Intercompany Accountant is responsible for managing, reconciling, and resolving intercompany transactions between legal entities to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely close, and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. This role plays a key part in the monthly close, consolidations, and audit support.
What you will be doing:
- Set processes and controls for appropriate recording of intercompany transactions.
- Reconcile, and eliminate intercompany transactions and balances
- Ensure intercompany accounts are accurately stated and agreed between entities
- Investigate and resolve intercompany differences on a timely basis
- Maintain intercompany agreements and ensure transactions align with contractual terms
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including intercompany accounting, reconciliations, eliminations, and month-end close
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, intercompany agreements, and consolidation principles; experience with ERP systems (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel
- CPA or CPA-track preferred (or equivalent professional designation)
- Strong attention to detail, ability to investigate and resolve variances, and experience supporting audits and cross-entity coordination
