Prepare tax provisions schedules, tax and information returns, payments calculation, reports and maintain the company’s database
Prepares and reviews working paper files to support tax filings
Coordinates and works with external advisors
Assists Management with projects and implementation of strategies
Ensures that companies comply with federal, provincial and municipal tax regulations
Keep up-to-date and shares knowledge with tax changes and industry trends
What you must have:
CPA designated
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar role
Attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work
Excellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Competent in the use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Outlook
Proficient in Corporate Tax Prep
Past work experience at public practice is preferable
Good team player, self-motivated and willing to learn
Salary/Rate Range: $80,000 - $95,000
