Vancouver Hybrid Intermediate Accountant Position

TFG is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our Vancouver team with a flexible hybrid work schedule. This full-time, permanent position revolves around full cycle accounting and developing comprehensive financial statements.

In your role, you will ensure timely preparation of financial statements while resolving basic accounting issues effectively. Your organizational skills will be critical as you manage reconciliations, variance analysis, and budget forecasts for assigned legal entities. Detail orientation is a must in maintaining accurate financial records and collaborating with external auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create financial statement packages by deadlines

• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies

• Conduct monthly reconciliations across all accounts

• Prepare and submit tax returns consistently

• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasts

Requirements:

• 4+ years in accounting roles

• Bachelor of Commerce with accounting major

• CPA or equivalent program enrollment

• Familiarity with ERP systems like Sage or Oracle

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
