We are actively growing our Accounting Team and hiring for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team on-site in our Vancouver head office.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional with a strong foundation in financial reporting and a proven track record managing accounting functions across multiple entities—including those tied to rental property portfolios and commercial property management.

Responsibilities
  • Perform the full cycle Income Producing Property (IPP) accounting of our residential and commercial properties
  • Prepare annual property budgets
  • Prepares financial statements and internal management reports
  • Assists with day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of companies and projects
  • Ensures accuracy of accounting transactions and manages accounts and bank reconciliation processes
  • Compiles year-end audit working papers and liaises with auditors
  • Prepares partnership and corporate tax returns
  • Compiles annual operating budgets
  • Conducts variance analysis
  • Provides administrative support to the management as required
  • Other duties may be required
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting related position
  • CPA Designation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work
  • Excellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Good team player, self-motivated and willing to learn
