Position: Contract Accountant at Atomic Cartoons
Atomic Cartoons is seeking a Contract Accountant for a 6-month term in Vancouver, with potential for full-time. This role focuses on accounts payable and bank reconciliations.

As an Accountant at Atomic Cartoons, you will support the Accounting team by managing accounts payable, preparing government remittances, and conducting monthly bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of accounting experience and must work one day a week at our Vancouver office. A keen attention to detail and proficiency in Excel are essential to ensure accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable efficiently

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations

• Manage GST/HST and Workers Comp remittances

• Create intercompany billback invoices

• Assist with month-end working papers

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience

• Post-secondary accounting certificate or degree

• Proficiency in Excel and Net Suite is a plus

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication
