Senior Accountant – hybrid

• Support the full cycle of financial reporting, including month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes, reconciliations, budgeting, audits, and tax support.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams in a cross-functional environment; work toward process improvements and system optimization, particularly within treasury and cash management functions.
• Support lease accounting and related reporting, identify efficiencies, strengthen internal controls, and improve overall financial processes and reporting capabilities across the organization.

• Canadian CPA designation preferred, though international accounting designations with reciprocity will also be considered. Candidates with foreign accounting designations are welcome, particularly those with experience in large, complex organizations performing analytical and investigative accounting work.
• Public practice experience from a mid-tier or Big 4 firm is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Experience with ERP implementations or system optimization projects is a strong asset.
• Nice to have experience in treasury, cash management, and lease accounting.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders; proactive and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Humility, curiosity, and comfort asking questions or seeking support when needed.
