Accountant Process Improvement & Automation

Join a leading SaaS firm in Vancouver as an Intermediate Accountant and excel in process improvement within a hybrid work environment. This role emphasizes month-end closing with cutting-edge technology.

In this 18-month contract position, work alongside a high-performing finance team focused on accurate reporting and process documentation. You will actively support month-end close processes while gaining exposure to automation initiatives and modern financial systems like Net Suite.

• Assist month-end close with reconciliations and reporting
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to resolve discrepancies
• Handle journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Support accounts payable tasks including invoice coding
• Participate in optimization initiatives for accounting workflows

• 3–5 years blended experience in public practice and industry
• Actively pursuing a CPA designation
• Proven month-end close and GL accounting background
• Strong Excel abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Self-starter in an energetic, fast-changing environment
