Lithium Americas is looking for a talented Accounting Manager to join its Finance & Accounting team on a long-term temporary basis. You will oversee a variety of accounting functions, including preparing monthly financial reports and managing compliance with SOX. Your leadership will be vital for financial accuracy across corporate units and supporting other teams with budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Close monthly financial activities for corporate units

• Prepare and manage detailed reports under US GAAP

• Supervise reconciliation and reporting processes monthly

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors

• Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and CPA certification required

• Minimum five years in public accounting experience

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Experience with SAP, US GAAP, and SOX compliance
