Join the Teck team in Vancouver, BC, as a Senior Accountant dedicated to the SAP S/4
HANA implementation. This hybrid position calls for an experienced financial professional to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
In this temporary full-time role, you will collaborate with Finance Process Leads on validating system developments and configurations tailored to Red Dog Mine needs. Your responsibilities include leading testing activities, migrating critical data, and delivering training for a seamless user experience. This is a pivotal role in driving efficiency in the accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to safety and environmental standards
• Validate SAP processes against site accounting needs
• Conduct thorough data preparation and testing
• Document management accounting workflows
• Mentor site teams on system functionalities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• 5-8 years of experience in mining financial accounting
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data tools
• Strong analytical and communication capabilities
