Accounts Payable Specialist

Position: Accounts Payable Specialist at Fresh Direct Produce
Join Fresh Direct Produce in Vancouver as an Accounts Payable Specialist. This full-time position focuses on transaction processing and resolving vendor inquiries effectively.

You will report to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and be integral to the team, overseeing day-to-day AP activities. A successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while meeting KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly high-volume transactions accurately

• Resolve vendor issues in compliance with department SLAs

• Perform regular vendor reconciliations and maintain accuracy

• Review cargo receipts and address any discrepancies

• Manage weekly cheque runs and electronic payment processing

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience in a high-volume AP setting

• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and technical applications

• Strong detail orientation and accuracy focus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask
