Position: Senior Accountant Role Based Hybrid
Join Armstrong Collective as a Senior Accountant in Vancouver and excel in a role focused on accurate financial reporting and operational collaboration. This hybrid position emphasizes capital expenditure and process improvement.

In this role reporting to the Manager of Accounting, you will support finance operations by ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of the balance sheet. Developing and managing fixed assets and inventory accounting will be key responsibilities, alongside mentoring junior accountants in their career development and daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts

• Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closings

• Maintain high standards of balance sheet integrity through reconciliations

• Provide documentation support during audit requests

• Evaluate the accounting treatment of various transactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience

• Expertise in capex/project accounting

• Familiar with ERP systems such as Net Suite

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
