Their focus is on helping clients from construction and infrastructure, commercial litigation, insurance, real estate and business seize emerging opportunities and find solutions to complex legal problems. They are looking for an Accounting Administrator to join their Vancouver Accounting Team.

The Accounting Administrator supports the daily operations of the accounting department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, assisting with trust accounting and compliance, and supporting ad hoc tasks, special projects, and other duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
:
· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
· Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
· Maintain and reconcile trust accounts in accordance with applicable regulations and firm policies
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
· Support employee expense reimbursement
· Organize and maintain accounting documentation and records
· Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with collections
· Assist in the preparation of internal financial reports
· Respond to inquiries regarding financial transactions and support internal stakeholders
· Participate in various ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned
· Perform other accounting or administrative duties as required
Skills and Competencies
:
· Minimum 2+ years of experience in full cycle accounting support (AR, AP, Reconciliations) - in a law firm environment an asset
· Proficiency with accounting software (., Quick Books, Sage, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel
· Experience with trust accounting (preferred)
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
· Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively
