Experienced Corporate Accountant

Position: Experienced Corporate Accountant Needed
Dynamic opportunity for a Corporate Accountant in Vancouver with a leading real estate firm! Bring your full-cycle accounting skills to a team that values collaboration and excellence.

In this role, you will report to the Corporate Accounting Manager and handle full-cycle accounting tasks for multiple corporate entities. Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring adherence to ASPE compliance. You will also innovate processes to enhance the efficiency and quality of accounting practices within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting for corporate entities

• Prepare and assess consolidated financial statements

• Reconcile intercompany accounts and other ledgers

• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and GST reviews

• Foster junior team members' development and skills

Requirements:

• Minimum three years' experience in corporate accounting

• CPA designation advantageous

• Solid understanding of ASPE

• Proficient in Excel and Yardi Voyager

• Strong communication and analytical skills
