OverviewCorporate Accountant – a full-cycle accounting role supporting multiple corporate entities, reporting to the Manager, Corporate Accounting.
Key Responsibilities- Handle full-cycle accounting for corporate entities.
- Prepare multi-level consolidated financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
- Analyze working papers, review partnership equity interest calculations, and track and reconcile intercompany and other accounts.
- Prepare financial statement analysis, monthly bank reconciliations, and assist with electronic banking administration.
- Review monthly and annual GST returns.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Evaluate, develop, implement, and document improvements to accounting procedures and systems to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in a complex multi‑entity organization with exposure to consolidated financial statements.
- CPA designation (asset).
- Robust understanding of ASPE.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel;
Power BI considered an asset. - Experience with Outlook, Word, and familiarity with Yardi Voyager considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to build strong relationships.
- Comfortable with changing priorities, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Vancouver – in‑office role primarily; after probation, flexible work‑from‑home up to one day per week.
Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary in the range of $75,000 – $85,000, plus excellent benefits, vacation, and targeted bonus.
