Fund Accountant

Position: CIBC Mellon Fund Accountant Role
CIBC Mellon is hiring a Senior Fund Accountant for full-time roles across Toronto, London, and Vancouver. The role focuses on fund accounting, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate net asset values for clients.

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will handle daily accounting functions for larger, more complex funds. This includes preparing financial statements and year-end packages, reviewing transactions, and training Fund Accountants. Your expertise in fund distribution and cash flow analysis will be key to this position's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial reports and fund distributions

• Analyze daily cash flow activities of assigned mutual funds

• Input manual entries and capital stock transactions

• Conduct audit checks for net asset values

• Report daily net asset values according to client instructions

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting or finance from Community College

• At least 3 years of relevant experience

• Completion of Canadian Securities Course

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Experience in training junior staff members
