Join MNP's Assurance & Accounting team as a Senior Accountant focusing on private enterprises and public sector audits. Help clients navigate the evolving financial landscape with your expertise.

As a Senior Accountant with MNP, you will be pivotal in offering tailored financial insights and support. You will conduct audits, manage client files, and streamline bookkeeping processes while associated with various public sector and nonprofit organizations.

Your role not only involves technical oversight but also mentoring junior team members and engaging in business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits, bookkeeping, and tax engagements

• Manage multiple client files simultaneously

• Summarize financial statuses and prepare reports

• Review and correct discrepancies in financial entries

• Establish charts of accounts and prepare entries

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of public accounting experience

• Knowledge of Canadian Public Sector Accounting Standards

• Experience with government auditing and tax software

• Strong understanding of accounting principles

• Willingness to travel as necessary
