** Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial information across the organization. This includes:
* Prepare and record journal entries, including assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses
* Assist with monthly and annual internal and external financial reporting
* Process invoices and employee expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and approvals prior to payment
* Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution
* Maintain organized and accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
* Perform bank reconciliations by verifying, allocating, and reconciling transactions
* Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

*** Diploma in Business with a focus or strong interest in accounting, or equivalent related work experience
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with basic computer applications
* Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
* Experience with Yardi Voyager and Elevate is considered an asset
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to assess risks and identify opportunities
* Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with change and ambiguity
* Resilient, resourceful, and creative in approaching challenges
