As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in guiding the financial operations for Indigenous clients across Canada. Collaborate effectively with a diverse team to enhance service delivery, manage financial transactions, and prepare accurate reports. This position encompasses both client interaction and mentoring junior staff to promote a culture of growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full cycle accounting operations including financial reporting

• Collaborate with clients and team members for high-quality engagements

• Monitor compliance with regulatory standards

• Support budget preparation and financial forecasts

• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports

Requirements:

• CPA designation required; CAFM considered an asset

• Extensive experience in full-cycle accounting

• Knowledge of accounting software like Sage 300 or QBO

• Familiarity with GAAP, PSAS, and IFRS

• Experience with Indigenous communities is preferred
