S Project Accountant Position

Position: EarthDaily's Project Accountant Position
Be part of Earth Daily Analytics as a Project Accountant, based in Vancouver. This hybrid role is dedicated to delivering exceptional project accounting support for various space mission initiatives, emphasizing financial accuracy and analysis.

The Project Accountant will engage with both Finance and Programs teams to prepare project costings and manage invoicing effectively. You will collaborate on budget forecasts and work closely with Program Managers to optimize resource allocations.

Your role is vital in ensuring timely reporting and compliance with R&D funding programs, driving the organization towards its mission goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial reporting for capital and revenue projects

• Prepare inputs for monthly status reports and cash flow forecasts

• Support the monthly closing process and year-end audits

• Develop and maintain extensive financial spreadsheets

• Contribute to operational improvements in project accounting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields like Accounting

• CPA designation is a plus

• Over 3 years of experience in accounting

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project accounting tools
