Vancouver Junior Accountant – Accounts Receivable

ASPECT Structural Engineers is looking for a Junior Accountant (Accounts Receivable & Billing) in Vancouver, BC. This role, covering a maternity leave, emphasizes accuracy in invoicing and receivables.

This position lasts 12-18 months, reporting to the Controller and focusing on managing financial transactions while ensuring compliance. Successful candidates will bring strong multi-tasking abilities and detail orientation, essential in a dynamic project environment. Your accounting background will support multiple departments across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate, timely invoicing and billing reports

• Manage collections and overdue accounts proactively

• Support project financial setup and data integrity

• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and journal entries

• Aid in year-end documentation and file preparation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields

• 1-3 years of relevant experience

• Solid understanding of accounting practices

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
