Make an impact with our National Tax Services Group as a Manager. This diverse team of professionals provides best‑in‑class industry and technical expertise to internally drive the success of our Tax practice. As a trusted advisor, you’ll work internally to support the delivery of tax services, the development and coordination of key training programs and materials and the communication of tax matters.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain firm standards, processes and tools to support the delivery of tax services to our clients
- Manage and maintain tax templates in accordance with the latest tax updates
- Develop internal training materials and practice aids to support the implementation of firm standards
- Facilitate and assist with firm‑wide learning and development events as required
- Research and keep up to date with the latest changes in local tax legislation; draft internal and external tax publications
- Issue tax technical research and information/support to professionals throughout the firm
- Prepare and participate in internal tax compliance and planning projects
- Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
- Completion of level 1 and 2 of the In‑Depth Tax Program
- Written and verbal French and English language skills, due to frequent collaboration with English‑speaking teams/clients across Canada and some client deliverables/regulatory reporting obligation are in English
- 4 to 5 years of relevant tax practice experience in a public accounting firm
- Experience preparing and reviewing domestic tax compliance and implementing tax reorganizations
- Experience with private companies and owner‑manager taxation is considered an asset
- Solid understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles
- Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills

The annual salary range for this position is: $105,000 - $115,000.
