Become a vital part of Atira Women’s Resource Society as a Junior Accountant. This full-time office-based position focuses on foundational accounting while supporting social change in Vancouver.

As a Junior Accountant reporting to the Intermediate Accountant, you will help the finance team with day-to-day activities, including transaction processing and maintaining financial records.

Your role includes tracking rent revenue for residential programs and ensuring accurate reconciliations and reporting. A commitment to the organization's values is essential as you work to support diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily accounting transactions accurately

• Track rent revenue for residential programs

• Reconcile accounts and maintain financial records

• Support monthly financial reporting requirements

• Collaborate with the finance team to enhance processes

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software

• Comfortable working in an office environment

• Willingness to undergo a criminal records review
