MNP, a national leader in accounting and consulting for Indigenous Nations, is seeking a Senior Accountant for their Indigenous Ease Services team. This role involves maintaining high-quality client relationships while overseeing financial transactions and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will significantly impact budget preparation, financial forecasts, and the accuracy of reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of full cycle accounting operations
• Collaborate with clients on Indigenous EASE engagements
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts with variance reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Develop effective client relationships while mentoring juniors
Requirements:
• CPA designation is required
• Full cycle accounting experience is a must
• Sage 300, Intacct, or similar software knowledge preferred
• Experience with Indigenous communities is an asset
• Knowledge of GAAP, PSAS, and IFRS standards
Utilize your accounting expertise within MNP to support Indigenous communities' financial needs effectively.
