Your OpportunityBDO Canada is looking for a Senior Manager to join the Expatriate Tax Services team.
Responsibilities- Provide guidance and training to the team in the preparation of Canadian and US individual tax returns.
- Review Canadian and US individual income tax returns.
- Day‑to‑day expatriate tax advice, including queries on items such as individual relocations, payroll benefit taxation and reporting.
- Additional expatriate tax consulting duties (research income tax issues and review memoranda or client letters in areas of executive compensation, global equity plans, policy design and other expatriate tax issues).
- Work closely with the Partner in charge of the practice to develop and support the team.
- Explore future business opportunities with partners across Canada with respect to their clients.
- Engage in business development initiatives to further grow the practice.

- Identify, recommend and focus on effective service delivery to clients.

- Grow expertise through learning and professional development.
- CPA designation.
- Seven or more years of professional experience, part or all of which specializing in expatriate tax.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French as well as English an asset).
- Ability to collaborate with team members nationally.
- Interest in contributing to the training and development of team members.
$125,000 to $175,000.
