Take charge as a Senior Accountant within the Housing Department, focusing on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting. Be instrumental in historical record cleanup and financial reconciliations.
This senior accounting role requires expertise in financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet management. You'll assist in annual budgeting, reconstruct historical mortgage records, and support equity interest calculations for members. Key skills needed include proficiency in accounting principles and hands-on experience in cleanup projects amidst complex data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce month-end and year-end financial statements
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements for accuracy
• Administer government fund revenues and analyze variances
• Resolve discrepancies arising from prior accounting system migrations
• Mentor junior staff with financial reporting processes
Requirements:
• CPA designation or equivalent, with a degree in accounting
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience
• Knowledge of Acumatica accounting systems preferred
• Ability to analyze data and communicate key insights
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
