Samsara is expanding its accounting team and seeking a Senior Accountant who will work within the US accounting department. This role focuses on high-visibility accounting areas, leveraging technologies like AI to enhance processes and team efficiency. You will play a vital role in the month-end close activities and work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own GL month-end close activities, including reconciliations
• Apply technical judgment for nuanced accounting transactions
• Collaborate with procurement, payroll, and supply chain teams
• Lead process improvement initiatives with AI tools
• Support external audits with organized documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of operational accounting processes
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication abilities
