Intermediate General Ledger Accountant

Position: Intermediate General Ledger Accountant Role
Elevate your accounting career as a General Ledger Accountant in our fast-growing finance team. This role emphasizes month-end closing, general ledger integrity, and sales tax compliance across multiple entities.

We seek a detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to enhance our finance operations. You will take ownership of key month-end closing responsibilities and assist in maintaining compliance across jurisdictions. Your experience with ERP systems and attention to detail will help us streamline processes while ensuring financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals

• Perform thorough balance sheet reconciliations

• Own reconciliation for key accounts like Shopify

• Assist with sales tax returns for Canada and U.S.

• Contribute to financial reporting and variance analysis

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience

• Strong understanding of general ledger and reconciliations

• Exposure to sales tax compliance preferred

• Experience with ERP systems, Net Suite is a plus

• CPA designation (in progress or completed) is valued
