Position: Vancouver Intermediate Accountant Role
Elevate your accounting career as an Intermediate Accountant in Vancouver, BC. This role focuses on month-end close, intercompany accounting, and supporting financial statement preparation.

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant to strengthen our Finance team. This position demands expertise in month-end close processes, with responsibilities including reconciliations, journal entries, and preparing management reports. You will collaborate closely with junior accountants and finance leadership to ensure compliance and optimize financial reporting while maintaining internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly close activities including journals and accruals

• Prepare month-end reconciliations and supporting schedules

• Review journal entries prepared by junior accountants

• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to leadership

• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and confirmations

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in accounting

• 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience

• CPA designation is advantageous

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

• Strong understanding of accounting principles
