Position: Accounting Clerk for Trust Administration

This position, requiring at least 2 years of accounting experience, involves managing trust funds and collaborating on legal billing processes. You will perform duties such as posting disbursements and following established accounting procedures. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel is crucial for success in this multi-tasking role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post disbursements including Copitrak and levies

• Deposit and manage trust funds following Law Society rules

• Adhere to accounting policies and procedures

• Collaborate with colleagues on trust-related requests

• Complete other related accounting tasks as necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience

• Knowledge of accounting principles and software

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Experience in a legal environment is preferred
