Smythe LLP is looking for a motivated CPA with 2-4 years of public practice experience. This role involves executing assurance engagements, analyzing client financial statements, and mentoring junior staff. Work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver quality service while driving process improvements within the Audit Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits and reviews for private clients

• Prepare financial statements following IFRS and ASPE

• Identify accounting and tax issues and propose solutions

• Mentor junior accountants and oversee their work

• Drive best practices and process enhancements in the team

Requirements:

• CPA designation with 2-4 years in audit and assurance

• Proficient in IFRS, ASPE, and Canadian standards

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a busy setting

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
