This newly created contract role demands a candidate with over 7 years in accounting, including 2 years focused on inventory and cost accounting within an inventory-based context. You will support key financial processes including the analysis of Cost of Goods Sold, conducting audits, and collaborating across departments to ensure accuracy in inventory valuation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inventory accounting processes and valuation

• Analyze Cost of Goods Sold and variances efficiently

• Support semi-annual physical inventory counts and audits

• Manage inventory reconciliations for month-end closes

• Recommend improvements for profitability and efficiency

Requirements:

• 7+ years in accounting, with inventory experience

• Strong communication skills in written and verbal formats

• CPA designation or international equivalent required

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems

• Experience with Power BI preferred
