  • Salary range: $70,000-$90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Accountant at RHN CPA, you will complete a variety of different engagements assigned to you, continuing to diversify your experience and skill sets, and actively contribute to the firm’s continued growth through timely service and communication to clients. You'll work closely with experienced directors and managers who are invested in your professional development and long-term success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead compilation, review, and audit engagements from planning through completion, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Prepare Canadian corporate, personal, and trust income tax returns.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Manage engagement budgets while monitoring time, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high quality client service.
  • Work with a time budget for all files, monitoring your time in the budget and meeting deadlines
  • Coach and support junior team members while contributing to a collaborative learning environment.
  • Participate in technical training, CPA development, and ongoing professional learning initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
  • CPA designation or successful progression through the CPA program.
  • 3-5 years of relevant public practice experience
  • Experience with NPO audits and fund accounting for a diverse group of clients is considered an asset
  • Sound knowledge of Accounting (ASPE and ASNPO) and CAS
  • Good understanding of materiality, risk assessment and variance analysis
